"It’s clarity that permeates every corner of director Chelsea Walker’s vivid and compassionate take on Ibsen’s tragic heroine... the incisiveness and consistency of Walker’s production in no way reduces the drama’s impact. Hedda’s no less powerful for making total sense. Women, after all, aren’t all deranged, vain harlots. Sometimes, they’re driven to it by men." Sally Hales, Exeunt

**** "What really makes it stand out is how it draws out Hedda’s complexity. She’s not a monster, nor is she an enigma. She does unforgivable things, she frightens herself at times, but she operates on her own terms. Even at the end, Walker ensures that this is true" Natasha Tripney, The Stage
**** "The stage often feels like it's breathing. It's a rich theatrical experience." Gareth Llŷr Evans, Guardian
***** "Director Chelsea Walker's stunning production of this iconic play adds a stylish and modern sheen" Philip Dewey, Western Mail
